At Colombo Builders Ltd, we’re currently working on a full commercial renovation for a new chicken shop in the heart of Battersea, SW11 1PG. This project is ongoing, and we’re proud to showcase the transformation as it unfolds

📍 Project Overview

We were brought in to completely strip and refurbish this unit, transforming it into a fully functional and modern chicken takeaway. With a residential flat directly above the premises, this job requires extra attention to soundproofing, safety, and insulation — and we’ve built that in from day one.

✅ Completed Work So Far

• Ceiling strip-out and rebuild
  Removed all existing ceilings to start fresh.
  Installed 200mm insulation for heat and sound control.
  Applied both soundproof and fire-rated plasterboard, ideal for compliance and comfort (especially with a flat above).

• Full electrical rewiring
  Stripped out all outdated cabling.
  Installed new wiring for:

• General power sockets

• Lighting systems

• Kitchen equipment

• CCTV system for security
